While playing, this optional function enables a glissando of ± 1 tone to be carried out according to the pitch bend setting on the expander (Sound Module).
Q-SELECT (external version)
Same as grill mounted version, but with external Control Box as shown.
The Q-SELECT enables you to memorize three expanders (sound modules) or keyboards in three separate sections.
Everything memorized can be transferred from one Q-SELECT to another by means of the DUMP OUT / DUMP IN command, by connecting the MIDI OUT socket on the Power Supply Unit of the source instrument (with performances already programmed) to the MIDI IN INTERFACE socket on the Power Supply Unit of the instrument to be programmed.
Furthermore the new Q-SELECT enables several other exciting possibilities by means of the QSI INTERFACE described below.
QSI INTERFACE
(FOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN TWO Q-SELECT MIDIS OR Q-SELECT AND COMPUTER)
- The QSI INTERFACE enables the connection between a MIDI Q-SELECT and a Personal Computer either in RS-232 or USB modes, apart from the normal connection via Midi cable.
By means of the WIN Q-SELECT * application which runs in the WINDOWS Operating System it is possible to create, modify, cancel or save a vast range of performances and Globals that can be loaded into the Q-SELECT or saved on disk.
- The QSI INTERFACE is powered by a special 5-pin cable connected to the MIDI IN/INTERFACE socket on the power supply.
